Day 2 & 3 : Masai Mara National Reserve (15/7/22 & 16/7/22)

After breakfast, leave for  maaasai mara national reserve, arrive for lunch and later go for evening game drive, safari, large mammals, and ancient tribes that today still have their ancient rituals and customs in mind. All this and much more is what you can find in one of the most

impressive natural parks in Kenya: Masai Mara. Taking a safari through the Masai Mara is one of the most intense experiences you can have in Kenya, a country that has made its natural wealth its main attraction. Although it is not the largest of all the reserves that exist in the country, it is one of the most impressive. And, not only because of the number of animals of different species that you can see in it, but also because in this protected area man coexists with nature as he did centuries ago. This is possible thanks to the fact that a tribe, that of the Masai, continues to maintain its ancient traditions and rites – for example, in their passage to maturity, adolescents have to hunt down a lion with only their rudimentary arrows – in this place of unique beauty. Arriving in Masai Mara you will have the feeling of having moved into a world of movies and of reliving the scenes of some as famous as ‘Out of Africa’ or ‘Mogambo’, with the aura of magic that emerges from their scenes. In this nature reserve, whose limit is only imposed by natural borders, live together some of the most spectacular animals on earth, which you can see during your safari. Masai Mara is home to giraffes, hippos, antelopes and gazelles, but also to the ‘big five African mammals’: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and rhinos, which you can see in their natural habitat. In addition, in Masai Mara you can witness a spectacle of unique beauty: the migration of zebras and wildebeests. Every dry season thousands of zebras and wildebeests travel from the endless plains of the Serengeti (Tanzania) into the muddy waters of the Mara River to invade the Masai Mara grasslands between May and October.

Accommodation at   Lerai Safari Camp

Day 4: Lake Nakuru (17/7/22)

After breakfast, leave Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch at the Hotel, Wagon Wheel Hotel. Afternoon safari in the park.

Lake Nakuru is located just 150 kilometers from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, in the middle of the Rift Valley. The lakes of this gigantic valley have been declared a World Heritage Site due to their inestimable ecological value. In addition to the Nakuru, the Bogoria and the Elementaita also stand out. All three are connected to each other and represent one of the great wonders of Africa. Lake Nakuru, Kenya, is world-famous for the flamingos that inhabit its waters. These colorful birds gather by the thousands over the waters of this lake and seem to dye its waters pink with their feathers.

Enjoy the spectacular sight of hundreds of flamingos swimming over the Nakuru and dipping their heads to feed. The alkaline condition of the waters of the Nakuru allows very nutritious algae and zooplankton to form in its waters that attract not only flamingos but also other birds that drink in this important lake and that in many cases make a brief stop at the lake. course of their migrations. On the banks of the lake you can find, in addition to birds, numerous species of mammals that make up a real show. Among the most outstanding animals, you can find the majestic black rhinos, or great hunters of the size of the lion and the leopard.
